COVID-19 - Dentistes sur Drummond

In order to comply with the regulations from Québec public health and our dental board we have made some changes in our clinic to increase security.

A screening for Covid-19 will be done at the time the appointment is booked by phone or by downloading and filling this: COVID-19 screening form
It is important to respect the time of your appointment but because of the time it takes to clean the room we might be late
Bring a mask or a face cover.
On your arrival please wait outside.
Call or text 514 939-2492 to signal your arrival.

Someone will greet you at the entrance
The screening for Covid-19 will be performed again
Your temperature will be taken with a contactless thermometer
You will have to put your belongings (mobile phone too) in a plastic box
You will have to disinfect your hands
You and the staff will have to wear a mask at all time except on the dental chair
You will be directed directly to the treatment room
We will tell you when to remove your mask or your face cover
You will have to rinse your mouth 2 times 30 seconds with a mouth rinse with peroxyde
When possible the dental dam will be used

At the end of the treatments you will have to put back your mask or face cover
To prevent a contamination no dental floss or tooth brush will be given
You will have to disinfect your hands
You will be directed to the reception
Time at the reception have to be short.
Make sure that your insurance informations are accurate.
If after one try the electronic insurance claim does not go through you will have to pay and your insurance will reimburse you
Paper work will be sent by email when possible

The capacity of the clinic will be reduced by 40% to permit social distancing
Addition of 2 filtration systems per room to control aérosols in the air (Vortex Air system and Jade from Surgically Clean Air)
Addition of a medical grade air filtration unit in the waiting room ( Cascade model from Surgically Clean Air)
As before rooms and instruments are disinfected and sterilized
In some situation a chirgical gown will be worn
The staff will wear a N95, KN95 or a surgical mask and a face shield
